Sergei Gonchar and Ruslan Fedotenko will both return to the lineup tonight when the Pens battle the Toronto Maple Leafs at the Air Canada Centre.

This will be Gonchar’s first game of the season after being sidelined from shoulder surgery back in October.

Fedotenko also makes his return to the lineup after being out since January 6 with a broken hand.  His hand was broken after a fight with former Penguin Colby Armstrong in which Fedotenko landed a knockout punch to the face of Armstrong.

Gonchar is expected to be paired with Rob Scuderi for tonight’s game, while Hal Gill sits out.  Another defensive note, Phillipe Boucher will be out indefinately after having foot surgery.

Fedotenko will be placed on the fourth line with center Maxime Talbot and left winger Eric Godard.   With Fedotenko’s return, the Penguins reassigned forward Luca Caputi to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
